Delhi–Mumbai Expressway Achieves 80% Operational Status, Gujarat And Maharashtra Stretches

October 27, 2025: The Delhi–Mumbai Expressway, one of India’s largest infrastructure undertakings, has achieved major progress, with over 80% of its length now operational across multiple states. The Delhi–Vadodara stretch, covering 31 construction packages, has recorded substantial completion. Of these, 27 packages are already functional across Haryana, Rajasthan, and Madhya Pradesh. In Rajasthan, Packages 10 and 15 are at 94% and 82% progress, respectively, while Gujarat’s Package 26 has reached 74% completion.

The 1,386-km-long expressway is being developed by prominent infrastructure firms, including APCO Infratech, HG Infra, GR Infraprojects, Larsen & Toubro, and GHV India. Notably, Larsen & Toubro’s Package 11 and multiple packages handled by GR Infra have achieved full completion, adding to the project’s steady momentum.

In the Vadodara–Virar section, comprising 13 packages, six are fully operational, while others are nearing completion. Package 5 — a 25 km stretch between Ankleshwar and Kim executed by Sadbhav Engineering and Gawar Construction — has improved its completion rate to 86%, up from 82% last month. GR Infra, Ashoka Buildcon, and Patel Infrastructure continue to drive progress across this corridor. Package 12, handled by Montecarlo in Maharashtra, has also achieved 85% completion.

Meanwhile, the DND–Faridabad–KMP Spur linking the National Capital Region to the main expressway is nearly complete. Of its four packages, three are operational in Haryana, while the Jewar Spur by APCO Infratech has reached 56% completion.

In Maharashtra, the JNPT Spur is advancing swiftly. Package 15 by Agroh Infrastructure has achieved 86% completion, while packages under IRCON and Shivalaya Construction range between 77 and 82%. Package 18 has been integrated with MSRDC’s Virar–Alibaug Multi-Modal Corridor project.
