November 24, 2025: For the first time, the City and Industrial Development Corporation (CIDCO) has introduced a first-come, first-served (FCFS) housing scheme, offering 4,508 ready-to-move-in homes across five Navi Mumbai nodes. Online registrations opened on 22 November at 4 pm, the corporation announced.
The scheme comprises 1,115 homes for the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) under PMAY and 3,393 homes for the Low-Income Group (LIG) in Taloja, Dronagiri, Ghansoli, Kharghar, and Kalamboli. Eligible EWS applicants may also receive a subsidy of ₹0.25 million under the PMAY scheme.
Describing the initiative as a “golden opportunity,” CIDCO vice-chairman and managing director Vijay Singhal said, “The FCFS format allows buyers to directly choose the unit they prefer, without a lottery draw. This scheme gives applicants the freedom to literally buy their dream home.”
All units are fully constructed and equipped with essential amenities, according to CIDCO. The homes are strategically located near the upcoming Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIA) and enjoy strong connectivity via suburban rail, metro, and highway networks. Once the required documentation is verified and full payment is made, possession will be granted immediately.
Applications can be submitted through the official CIDCO portal, where details on unit sizes and pricing are available. Home seekers who register by 21 December can begin selecting their preferred units from 28 December at 11 am. With allotment strictly on a first-come, first-served basis, CIDCO has urged applicants to register early to secure their desired homes.
This landmark FCFS initiative marks a significant shift in Navi Mumbai’s housing distribution approach, providing greater transparency and flexibility to homebuyers and enabling them to move into ready units without delays.
