Singer Shaan & Wife Radhika Buy Three Luxury Flats In Bandra For Rs 47.64 Crore

Bollywood playback singer Shantanu Mukherji, popularly known as Shaan, and his wife Radhika Mukherji have made a major investment in Mumbai’s luxury property market, purchasing three apartments in Bandra West for a combined Rs 47.64 crore.

According to property registration documents accessed by CRE Matrix, the couple bought the apartments from developer NVK Realty LLP. The properties are located on higher floors of the Palmera project on Turner Road in Bandra West and together span 6,267.87 sq ft.

Each apartment was registered at a consideration of Rs 15.88 crore. The transactions, registered on August 20, 2026, attracted a combined stamp duty of Rs 2.70 crore. The purchase also includes nine car parking spaces.

The three separate apartments have been combined to create a single residence, according to the registration documents.

Shaan was unavailable for comment on the purchase.

The developer’s website highlights the property’s connection with Bollywood history, stating that the luxury condominium was previously the residence of veteran actor Mala Sinha.

The purchase comes as Mumbai continues to see strong activity in the premium and luxury housing segment. The city recorded 1,499 luxury property registrations valued at Rs 14,903 crore between April and June, according to the Lighthouse Luxury Quarterly Luxury Real Estate Report cited by Mumbai Mirror.

The couple had also invested in Pune real estate last year. Shaan and Radhika purchased a luxury bungalow in Prabhachiwadi for Rs 10 crore, according to property registration records reviewed by Square Yards. The property includes a plot measuring approximately 0.4 hectares and a built-up area of around 5,500 sq ft. The transaction involved Rs 50 lakh in stamp duty and a Rs 30,000 registration fee.

Shaan, whose career spans more than two decades, has lent his voice to several popular Bollywood songs, including tracks from films such as Kal Ho Naa Ho, Tanu Weds Manu and Dus.

Other singers have also invested in Mumbai’s premium housing market. Earlier this year, Shreya Ghoshal and her parents purchased a Worli apartment for Rs 29.70 crore. Playback singers Jubin Nautiyal and Stebin Ben have also acquired Mumbai properties, while composer and singer Anu Malik and his wife have sold two apartments in Santacruz West.
