Ekta World has committed Rs 1,200 crore to develop a portfolio of six premium office projects across Mumbai’s western suburbs, strengthening its focus on commercial real estate in established neighbourhoods such as Linking Road, Hill Road and Turner Road.
The planned portfolio includes two outright developments and four redevelopment projects. The developer said these locations offer a mix of residential communities, retail outlets, hotels and entertainment facilities, creating integrated urban ecosystems that can appeal to businesses seeking premium, well-connected office addresses.
The projects are expected to target a diverse set of occupiers, including founder-led companies, professional services firms, media and creative businesses, boutique financial institutions, family offices and corporate teams. Ekta World believes companies are increasingly considering factors beyond office space itself when selecting locations, with connectivity, accessibility, nearby amenities and employee experience gaining importance.
The developer’s strategy focuses on introducing contemporary workplaces within established neighbourhoods rather than relying solely on large standalone commercial districts.
