Actress Khushi Kapoor, daughter of filmmaker Boney Kapoor and late actor Sridevi, has purchased a residential apartment in Bandra West, Mumbai, for Rs 63 lakh, according to property registration documents accessed by CRE Matrix.
The compact apartment is located in Samtadeep Building on 25th Road, Bandra West, one of Mumbai’s established premium residential neighbourhoods known for its strong connection to the film industry. The property has a carpet area of 180 sq ft and a built-up area of 216 sq ft.
According to the registration records, Kapoor bought the apartment from Farooq Chagla. The transaction, registered on September 1, 2026, involved a consideration of ₹63 lakh, while the stamp duty paid was Rs 3.15 lakh.
Based on the registered transaction value, the property works out to approximately Rs 35,000 per sq ft on a carpet-area basis and around Rs 29,167 per sq ft based on the built-up area. These figures are calculated from the registered consideration and may not reflect prevailing market rates in Bandra West.
Bandra’s Strong Bollywood Connection
Bandra West continues to be among Mumbai’s most sought-after residential markets, supported by its connectivity, social infrastructure, premium housing and proximity to major commercial and entertainment districts.
The neighbourhood, along with nearby Pali Hill, has long been a preferred residential destination for Bollywood actors, filmmakers, producers and other high-net-worth individuals. Its proximity to important film and production hubs in Andheri, Juhu, Versova and Goregaon has further strengthened its appeal among members of the entertainment industry.
Khushi Kapoor made her acting debut with The Archies in 2023 and has since appeared in Hindi films.

Other Celebrity-Linked Small Property Deals
The transaction comes amid other property deals involving homes acquired or rented for staff by prominent personalities.
In 2025, Anjali Tendulkar, wife of cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, reportedly purchased a 391-sq-ft apartment in Virar for Rs 32 lakh for a staff member. The transaction was registered on May 30, 2025, with Rs 1.92 lakh paid in stamp duty.
Similarly, interior designer Gauri Khan, wife of actor Shah Rukh Khan, reportedly rented a 2BHK apartment in Khar West for a starting monthly rent of Rs 1.35 lakh for staff. The three-year agreement covered a property located close to their residence in Pali Hill while Mannat was undergoing renovation.
Khushi Kapoor’s Bandra purchase adds another celebrity-linked transaction to Mumbai’s active residential property market, highlighting the continued demand for homes across the city’s premium western suburbs.
