Mumbai Metro’s First Underground Aqua Line to Commence Operations on July 24

Mumbai’s eagerly awaited first underground Metro line, known as the Aqua Line, is scheduled to start operations on July 24, as announced by BJP leader Vinod Tawde.

The 33.5-kilometre route, referred to as the “Aqua Line,” will link south Mumbai to the western suburbs. Officially named the Colaba-Bandra-SEEPZ Line, this new Metro route will provide a much-needed alternative to the often overcrowded suburban railway system.

In a social media post, Tawde praised the project as a “new impetus to the speed of the city,” attributing its success to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s dedication to enhancing the lives of Mumbaikars.
