On October 4, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit the city to partially open the Mumbai Metro 3 project. Aarey Colony will be connected to Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) by this segment of the metro.
A Hindustan Times story claims that PM Modi would also launch a number of additional development projects. Among other projects, these include the Thane Ring Metro’s foundation stone, the Samruddhi Expressway’s last phase, and a corridor of the Thane Creek Bridge.
The launch of these projects is being contemplated for three possible days, namely October 3 through October 5.
According to a source for the HT story, October 4 has been decided upon as the common date for the activities because of the involvement of several government entities.
