Morgan Stanley welcomed employees and guests to the ceremonial launch of a new cutting-edge office in Mumbai, located at Commerz III, International Business Park, within Oberoi Garden City in Goregaon. The new headquarters would integrate Morgan Stanley’s Global Centre operations in Mumbai into a single location with over 8,500 employees. The one-million-square-foot space is intended to provide a modernised and collaborative work environment, powered by seamless technology and sustainable solutions to improve efficiency and productivity.
The ceremony was also attended by Mandell Crawley, the Firm’s Chief Human Resources Officer in New York, and Anahita Tiwari, Head of Morgan Stanley’s India Global Centres.
In keeping with Morgan Stanley’s overall sustainability goals, the new campus was designed and built to attain LEED Gold and FITWEL certification. Energy-efficient lighting, reduced water use, a ban on single-use plastics, and waste minimisation are all examples of sustainability measures.
