A 6.5-acre plot of land has been purchased by Arkade Developers for the Anand Nagar Society cluster redevelopment in Dahisar East, Mumbai. The estimated gross development value (GDV) of the redevelopment project, which covers a property area of 26,286 sq meters, is Rs 1,700 crore.
The project will include both residential and commercial areas, with a total saleable area of roughly 676,000 square feet.
The company’s chairman and managing director, Amit Jain, stated, “The 2025 union budget and its emphasis on housing and rental market growth are driving strong momentum in the real estate sector. Arkade Developers has benefited from this beneficial climate by acquiring five new projects this year, including four redevelopments and one outright property, all of which are ideally situated in all of the top MMR regions.
In January 2025, the business purchased a four-acre plot of land in Goregaon West. Filmistan now leases the property, which is expected to generate Rs 2,000 crore in revenue.
Additionally, the business developed 20,232 square meters, or around five acres, across three new redevelopment projects in Mumbai’s Western Suburbs: Andheri East, Malad West, and Borivali West. About 5.85 lakh square feet of carpet are expected to be sold, bringing in an estimated Rs 2,150 crore in revenue.
In the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR), Arkade Developers has a strong pipeline of 16 projects, six of which are now underway and ten of which are planned.
