CREDAI MCHI Youth To Host Navi Mumbai’s First Redevelopment Expo This Sunday

June 21, 2025: In a landmark initiative aimed at transforming the housing landscape of Navi Mumbai and Raigad, CREDAI MCHI Youth—the youth wing of real estate developers under the age of 40—is set to host the region’s first redevelopment exhibition this Sunday at the Navi Mumbai Exhibition Centre. The event, which is open to the public and free of charge, will run from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The exhibition will feature participation from 30 prominent developers based in Navi Mumbai and is expected to attract representatives from over 750 housing societies actively seeking redevelopment options. “The goal is to create a transparent, solution-driven platform where societies can directly interact with developers,” said Amit Haware, Immediate Past President of CREDAI MCHI Youth and Managing Director & CEO of Haware Properties.

According to organisers, the expo will facilitate one-on-one meetings between housing society members and developers, offering expert guidance on the legal and regulatory aspects of the redevelopment process. “This is the first time developers themselves are extending the invitation to societies to clarify doubts and provide direction,” said Ricki Thomas of EV Homes and a committee member.

The event has received support from key government bodies including MMRDA, NMMC, PMC, and CIDCO. Officials from these agencies will be present to assist citizens with any queries related to permissions or infrastructure.

Jitesh Agrawal, President of CREDAI MCHI Youth and Managing Director of Anant Builders, highlighted the broader vision behind the initiative: “This is not just about redevelopment—it’s about reshaping Navi Mumbai’s future. We’re here to empower communities and promote responsible, safe urban living.”

“This initiative represents trust, transparency, and transformation, not merely business. It is our social responsibility to provide citizens with modern, secure homes,” Agrawal added.
