Navi Mumbai’s ambition to become India’s next live entertainment hub has gained momentum with CIDCO issuing an Expression of Interest (EOI) for a landmark multi-purpose indoor arena. The EOI is available online from 9 to 30 December 2025 with submissions closing at 5:00 pm IST.
The planned arena is inspired by iconic global venues such as Madison Square Garden in New York and the O2 Arena in London. It will feature a seating capacity of 20,000 and accommodate up to 25,000 people for concerts, international sporting events, large cultural festivals and immersive productions. Once completed, it will be the country’s largest indoor live events venue.
Navi Mumbai’s growing infrastructure strengthens the city’s position for such a project. The Atal Setu Trans-Harbour Link, expanding metro network, upcoming Navi Mumbai International Airport and tourism assets including the Kharghar sports complex and Kharghar Valley Golf Course support its capability to host large-scale global events.
CIDCO expects the arena to generate significant employment, boost tourism and create opportunities across hospitality, retail and the wider events ecosystem. It will also align with major upcoming developments including Medi City, Edu City and Aero City.
With the EOI now open, CIDCO aims to attract developers and operators with proven international expertise to help establish Navi Mumbai as a premier destination for world-class entertainment and large format events.
