Adani Airport Holdings Limited (AAHL) and The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) have entered into a multi-hotel operating agreement to develop eight hotels with more than 2,000 rooms across Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Lucknow and Guwahati. The partnership aims to strengthen hospitality infrastructure around major aviation hubs and cater to business, leisure and transit travellers.
The proposed hotels will operate under IHCL’s Taj, Vivanta, Gateway and Ginger brands, covering luxury, upscale and mid-scale accommodation. The portfolio will comprise three Taj hotels, two Vivanta properties, one Gateway hotel and two Ginger establishments.
In Mumbai, the plan includes a Taj hotel at Terminal 2 of the airport. Lucknow will have Vivanta and Ginger properties, while Ahmedabad’s portfolio will include Taj and Vivanta hotels at advanced stages of development. Guwahati is also set to feature Taj, Gateway and Ginger hotels.
Adani Airports has established Adani Airport City Limited to develop more than 655 acres of land across eight airports in seven states. Nearly 440 acres are located in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai.
