Shreya Ghoshal Acquires High-End Mumbai Property Worth Rs 29.7 Crore

Celebrated playback singer Shreya Ghoshal has acquired a high-end residential property in Mumbai’s upscale Worli, adding a new address to her city portfolio. The purchase highlights continued demand for premium real estate in South Mumbai’s luxury housing segment.

According to property registration documents reviewed by Square Yards, Ghoshal, along with her parents Shamishtha Ghoshal and Biswajit Ghoshal, has bought an apartment valued at Rs 29.70 crore. The transaction was officially registered on April 1, 2026.

The apartment is located in Godrej Trilogy, a premium residential development in Worli. As per records accessed from the Inspector General of Registration (IGR), the property offers a carpet area of 2,430.06 sq ft (225.76 sq m) and a total built-up area of 2,750.28 sq ft (255.51 sq m). The residence also includes three dedicated car parking spaces, a feature commonly associated with luxury housing projects in the area.

The transaction involved a stamp duty payment of Rs 1.78 crore, along with registration charges of s 30,000, reflecting the high-value nature of the deal. Worli has emerged as one of Mumbai’s most sought-after residential destinations, attracting celebrities, business leaders, and high-net-worth individuals due to its connectivity, sea-facing properties, and proximity to commercial hubs.

Shreya Ghoshal, who gained nationwide recognition after winning the reality show “Sa Re Ga Ma Pa” and made her Bollywood debut with Devdas, continues to be one of India’s most prominent voices in the music industry.

Her latest property acquisition underscores the ongoing trend of celebrity investments in Mumbai’s luxury real estate market, particularly in prime locations like Worli, where demand for premium homes remains strong.
