The Mankoli-Mothagaon bridge will be opened for traffic soon after the inauguration, which is most likely to take place next month. The construction of bridge connecting Dombivli and Bhiwandi will be completed by the end of this month.
This development came after the Mumbai Metropolitan Regional Development Authority (MMRDA) officials inspected the bridge. MMRDA Executive Engineer Arjun Korgaonkar, KDMC City Engineer Arjun Ahire along with Youth Sena Secretary Dipesh Mhatre went for the inspection. After the inspection, officials shared that bitumen laying work is in the final stages, thereafter, lane marking and related works is to be carried out. After the efforts of MP Shrikant Shinde, the construction of this bridge gained speed.
