Rolling stock trials are being conducted by RDSO on Aqua Line in Mumbai Metro 3

The Mumbai Metro’s Aqua Line (Line 3) is being worked on at a rapid pace. The Metro 3 line runs underground between Aarey and Seepz via BKC. The Research Design and Standards Organization (RDSO) recently completed the testing phase for the rolling stock intended for this line. Phase 1, which runs from Aarey to Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC), is now undergoing trials.

The Mumbai Metro 3 project’s official X account published an update on June 24, 2024, announcing that the oscillation trials for the Metro rakes have concluded. The trial report will now be delivered to the Railway Board and the Commissioner of Metro Rail Safety by the Research Design and Standards Organization (RDSO).
