The Maharashtra government has approved the building of a new route with the goal of reducing traffic on Mumbai’s GB route. Eknath Shinde, the Minister of Urban Development for Maharashtra, gave his consent, which is a big step in the right direction to relieve traffic congestion in one of the busiest areas of the city.
The Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR)’s main thoroughfare, GB Road, has long been beset by heavy traffic during rush hour, which causes delays and inconveniences for both locals and commuters. It is anticipated that the new road will offer a vital detour, rerouting traffic and relieving congestion on GB Road.
