The final phase of Mumbai’s highly anticipated Airoli-Katai Naka project is set to begin this month. The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) is expected to appoint a contractor for the construction of the 6.72-kilometre elevated corridor between Shil and Katai. This new route will provide a direct connection between Navi Mumbai and the Kalyan-Dombivli region, reducing travel time to just 30 minutes.
