The major Thane-Belapur route will have an arm bridge built by the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) to connect Koparkhairane and Ghansoli nodes directly. The initiative, which is expected to cost ₹24.23 crore, would facilitate the flow of traffic to the nodes.
As of right now, the only ways for vehicles to access the Koparkhairane node are through a small subway that passes by the Koparkhairane train station and an abandoned road that leads from the TB road’s Thane lane to Ghansoli hamlet.
When driving from the Thane-Belapur route, the people of the nodes must make lengthy detours in order to reach their objectives, which takes time away from them. In the underground, drivers also experience waterlogging, particularly in the monsoon season.
