Akasa Air has announced that all its domestic and international flight operations at Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA) will be shifted to Terminal 2 (T2) from August 1, 2026. The move is aimed at enhancing passenger convenience by consolidating all services under one terminal and offering a smoother travel experience.
With the transition, every Akasa Air flight operating to and from Mumbai, including both domestic and international services, will depart from and arrive at Terminal 2. The airline said the consolidation is part of its efforts to simplify airport operations and improve the overall journey for its customers.
To ensure a hassle-free transition, Akasa Air has advised passengers to complete online check-in through its official website or mobile application before reaching the airport. Travellers are also encouraged to verify their flight details and terminal information before commencing their journey to avoid any last-minute confusion.
The airline is actively informing passengers about the terminal change through multiple communication channels, ensuring customers are aware of the revised arrangements well in advance of their travel date.
