The Orange Gate Tunnel Project’s geotechnical study has begun

For the projected underground Orange Gate Road Tunnel Project, the contractor chosen by the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) has started geotechnical investigation work.

A senior official stated that the MMRDA, the nodal body in charge of the project, is surveying about 35 places, and that seven of these have already undergone testing. The official also mentioned that the real tunnelling construction will probably start after the monsoon, with the survey work expected to be finished in the following few days.
