Mumbai, a land-poor metropolis, has the most skyscrapers in the nation since it has few options for infrastructural expansion. In India, the city is a leader in the expansion of vertical real estate. A recent analysis by real estate consulting firm Anarock predicts that over the next six years, through 2030, the number of towers with more than 40 stories would increase by 34% in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region.
Up until 2023, there were 154 skyscrapers with more than 40 floors that were constructed. There will be 207 of these towers between 2024 and 2030. This indicates that there would be a 34% increase in tower count between the two eras, from 154 in 2023 to 207 in 2024–2030. According to Anarock, these 207 towers are now being built in a variety of stages, with completion anticipated any time between 2024 and 2030.
