For the impending monsoon season, the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) has set up a Control Room. The Control Room will be open from June 1, 2024, until September 30, 2024, twenty-four hours a day. The Control Room seeks to reduce any annoyance resulting from a variety of sources, including potholes, waterlogging, accidents, tree uprooting, traffic jams, and other MMRDA project-related problems.

The toll-free lines for this control room’s emergency contacts are 1800228801, 022-26591241, 022-26594176, and 8657402090. During the monsoon, the Metro team will have over 300 engineers and labourers on duty to ensure everyone is safe at the various MMR project sites. Nineteen emergency response teams, each consisting of an engineer and ten labourers, will address any crises.
