Citizens of Kandivali and Juhu present agendas to candidates for infrastructure projects

Candidate pledges to walk the walk have been sought by citizen groups prior to May 20 city polls. After conducting a poll, a group of Kandivali and Lokhandwala township residents released a “citizen’s manifesto,” while a group of Juhu residents released a charter of demands.

The manifesto calls for transparent utilisation of MP funds based on citizen feedback for development projects, access to the MP following the election and engagement with township dwellers, and the MP’s active participation in e-platforms to deal with complaints.
