25% of the roads in the Mumbai suburbs have been concreted by BMC

The eastern and western suburbs are the sites of the finished projects. But the island metropolis has not yet seen the start of construction. According to a statement made by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), just 25% of roads have been fully concreted. This happened a few days before Mumbai’s rainy season began.

Due to the delay in beginning the construction, the BMC cancelled the contract with the former tenant for the city and issued a new offer. An official said that since the monsoon is only a few days away, no new roads are being dug up. June 7th has been set as the deadline for reopening the excavated roadways for traffic.
